I'm Jamie Trees, a communications and design specialist with a background in international environmental management and science communication. I’ve worked with multilateral development banks, government partners, rural and urban communities, and the private sector across ecotourism, disaster risk management, nature-based solutions, and more.
At times, I’ve led the communications team, and at other times I’ve been the communications team responsible for multiple projects with multiple stakeholders at once.
What I do
Strategy and Messaging
Communications plans, key messages, audience frameworks, and the strategic direction that gives the rest of the communications function a unified vision and purpose.
Design and Visuals
Brand visuals and identity including reports, technical figures, infographics, and event materials, with particular experience translating technical and scientific content.
Systems and Channels
Websites, social media, templates, and the internal infrastructure that allows an organization to communicate consistently across its channels without starting from scratch every time.
